Today I cover the 1981 movie The Neighbors from 1981 starring John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd.
If anyone is out there and listening I'd love to hear any feedback
positive or not so positive, otherwise, I'm going to keep doing this. Thanks.

Working on episode 4
Working on episode 4 to mark the 1 year anniversary of the election of
our "President". It is a very politically incorrect but is also a very
Trumpian movie and one that I really enjoy. I do work this weekend but
will still try to have it up by the beginning of the week.

Editing episode 1
I'm editing the first episode and now need to find the best way to post it online. I have also begun working on the second episode and hopefully it won't take so frakking long for me to get it done.

Still coming!
Still working on the first episodes. Not quite happy with the results yet, too many pauses and repetition. I am getting more comfortable talking into a microphone and hopefully can start posting very soon.

The Movie Sandwich Review is almost on the air!

Greetings,
My earliest movie memories include the Ridglea theater in Fort Worth, Texas. The theater was near my grandparents house and the earliest movies I recall seeing there were The Pink Panther Strikes Again and Live and Let Die. I'm sure we say other movies like Disney movies and the like, but I don't recall any of those.
My other movie memories include watching TV after school. This was back when there were three stations, PBS and a couple of UHF channels. Getting home from school, one of the channels would usually show afternoon movies and sometimes they'd have theme weeks. I remember Monkey Week where they would show King Kong or the Planet of the Apes movies. They'd also show Dracula, Frankenstein, Godzilla and other such movies.
These afternoon and late night movies were also my first exposure to Hammer films. One scene sticks with me that still creeps me out. It's one of the Christopher Lee Dracula movies and the scene involves him approaching the castle wall and just climbing up it and entering a window. Just thinking about that scene still sends chills up my spine.
As I've gotten older, the magic of movies have lessened. While I still enjoy them I find myself going back to the older ones. Also, thanks to shows like Mystery Science Theater 3000 and USA's Up All Night and Joe Bob Briggs, I got into lower budget and more obscure movies. Since then, I have found a lot of interesting B movies, Poverty Road pictures and the like. This has re-ignited my love of movies.
This is why I have decided to start a podcast. I have my first episode ready and am working on episode 2. It's still very rough but I figured I should just get it posted because it will never be perfect and I should just do it. I just need to figure out how to post it on here and get it out there. I'm still looking for a co-host with whom we can work out a convenient and regular schedule. Until then, it's just me and my occasional thoughts.
